As a first time seller, I appreciated Charlie’s collaborative approach in getting my townhouse ready for sale. He pulled together a comprehensive market analysis on current listings and recent sales, toured me through comparable properties, and made suggestions on some low cost/high return improvements I could make to help my home stand out – very important given there were similar townhomes for sale in the neighborhood. After 6 weeks, my home sold for 97% of asking price. What I learned is pricing competitively and staging your home are critical; and Charlie’s suggestion of hiring a professional photographer to shoot photos for the online listing, flyers, etc. was well worth the expense. On the buying side, Charlie was there every step of the way; from previewing properties to negotiating offers.
